PASCAGOULA, Miss. – VT Halter Marine could create 180 full-time jobs if it receives $5 million via federal grants to construct an $8 million pipe and marine fabrication building at its Pascagoula yard. The jobs would be mostly craftsmen positions, such as welders and shipfitters.
