The property will include a 798 room hotel, a fullservice spa, a pool with tropical landscaping, a casino and retail and meeting space. The project represents an investment of over $700 million in Biloxis future and could be completed by early 2010.\par Ground was broken in 2007 for the first Margaritaville Casino, which will open in 2010. Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville Casino and Resort, announced by Harrah's to be built on the site of the old Grand Casino Biloxi and Casino Magic properties.\par Harrah's acquired the Casino Magic Biloxi property next to the Grand Casino Biloxi south of Highway to expand its developable resort site.
